This past year there was an interesting exhibit at the museum in my town, Bellevue, featuring an artist Etsuko Ichikawa who creates huge panels of paper "drawn" on using flame and smoke coming from molten glass. You can see her work www.bellevuearts.org/exhibitions/past/etsuko_ichikawa.htm. I don't know how you control the heat so the paper doesn't burn. Hmmm. Keep extinguisher handy, I guess.Suzanne DeCuirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10513228329466411191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8927844633054607259.post-35658885456225950842010-03-08T15:34:59.512-08:002010-03-08T15:34:59.512-08:00Interesting that an effect so similar to watercolo...Interesting that an effect so similar to watercolor could be produced by fire.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8927844633054607259.post-53744626860127481822010-03-08T08:48:32.469-08:002010-03-08T08:48:32.469-08:00Soot from a candle flame!
